Web based wind load calculation software for roof covers on flat and pitched roofs

Roof Calculator is a WEB based software (SaaS) solution which includes several software packages to perform wind load calculations for Flexible Waterproofing, Standing Seam, and Tapered Insulation with high ­accessibility and flexibility for the user, thanks to the RoofCalculator Portal. 

In the system you build up a personal database of roof membranes/long strip steel sheets, preferred fasteners, and insulation solutions. The company specific material data base can also be shared to other partner companies that are working with your products. 

The integrated CAD tool makes it possible for the user to create a roof plan that match the ­construction drawings for the project. When the calculation is ­executed, the user can E-mail, print or share a comprehensive report in optional ­language including a roof plan with fixing patterns for the long strip ­Standing Seam roof or the Flexible ­Waterproofing System. 

The RoofCalculator portal enables the user to communicate directly with the clients and share wind load calculations as well as roof plan drawings and editable RoofCalculator CAD files.

Standing Seam

Web based software to calculate wind loads and snow loads according to EN 1991-1-3 and EN1991-1-4 on pitched roofs covered with steel, aluminium, Zink or stainless standing seam roof cover systems. RoofCalculator – Standing Seam is designed for mechanically attached systems and supports both fixed and sliding clips. Design concept according to CEN TS-17659.

Roof Planner

Web based software integrated with RoofCalculator Flexible Water Proofing.  With RoofPlanner the user can order wind load calculation from a connected account with RoofCalculator Flexible Water Proofing. The user can also open RCPX files and draw roofs with fall protection, roof drains, snow fence and other assecories. With Roofplanner it is very easy to measure the roof surface, the length of parapets and gutter lines.

Tapered Insulation

Web based software integrated with ­RoofCalculator Flexible Water Proofing. With RoofCalculator – ­Tapered Insulation it is possible to design the tapered insulation in the CAD editor and get the correct insulation thicknesses in all areas over the roof. RoofCalculator – Tapered Insulation also ­support U-value calculation which is an important tool when choosing the insulation type and thicknesses.

The RoofCalculator Portal is the start and communication hub for the different ­software’s that are included in the RoofCalculator suite. In the portal you decide which program ­licenses you wish to purchase and have access to. You can also communicate with your partners around ­calculations and share files that can be opened within the program suite.

RoofCalculator CAD editor

The RoofCalculator CAD editor is an ­advanced software which is integrated in all four software solutions in the RoofCalculator suite. The CAD editor makes it possible to draw ­advanced roof shapes both for flat and pitched roofs. The CAD editor identifies the different roof areas and roof ­detail lengths such as ridge and gutters.
